Leather Fire Helmet Chin Strap

Available in Black leather, these chin straps are crafted from real leather and are a quality product you can rely on. There are cheaper ones available, but take note on these that I use quality leather and components as well that the edges are rounded and finished for comfort and durability. I use two Chicago Screws on each side for the connection to the helmet. All rivets are solid copper including one on the end of the strap which is easy to grip with a gloved hand to pull tight. The strap is 30" long and will fit down around your SCBA without issues and also includes a quick release buckle that is easily squeezed with gloves on. When you first receive this the pull might be tight, just work it a few times back and forth the full length of the strap and it will loosen right up. Each one is handmade from start to finish from cutting the straps, punching holes, hand finishing the edges and applying multiple coats of protective finish. You will receive 4 Chicago Screws and I would recommend using thread lock on them to prevent them backing out. Hand tight with a tool should be fine when securing these.
